Opportunity

The Northeast Organic Family Farm Partnership provides a unique opportunity for retailers and institutional buyers. You can become heroes by creating market stability for our region’s farmers, ensuring their lasting success for generations to come.

Becoming a Retail Partner is Simple

There are only two commitments for retailers.

  1. Purchase products from at least one of the 35+ Partner Brands, and
  2. Use your best efforts to increase purchases from Partner Brands year over year. This increase boosts the local demand for regionally produced products and will help strengthen the market for our at-risk farms.

That’s it! It’s that simple.

Partnership Press

The Northeast Organic Family Farm Partnership launch gained over 287 million media impressions in its first week and was picked up extensively by the local and national press. We are excited to share the story of each retailer who joins our Partnership via additional press releases, local press events, and social media. We take care of the outreach and publicity.

License to use the Official Partnership Seal

The Partnership logo is trademarked, and a simple licensing agreement protects our Retail Partners against misuse of the label by non-licensed entities. It creates label credibility by asking for an official declaration of the retailer’s commitment. The agreement is a good-faith effort that does not include fees, royalties, or penalties for participation. Upon licensure, you’ll receive a promotional toolkit with everything you need to advertise your involvement to your customers.

Why Organic Family Farms Matter

There are countless ways in which local organic farms benefit our communities, including building healthy soil, minimizing the use of harmful chemicals, raising healthier livestock and products, carbon sequestration, and circulating farm income 1.9 times into the local economy. Read more here.
